Contract Awarded to Chemtex for Building Two 600 TPD Textile Grade Polyester Lines in China

In late July, 2009 Chemtex was awarded with a contract to build two 600 TPD textile grade polyester plants for New Fengming Group in Zhejiang Province, P.R. China.  The contract was signed with Tongxiang Zhongchen Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Zhejiang New Fengming Group. The two plants will be connected to direct spinning lines for filament production. Chemtex will provide IPT know-how, basic/detailed design, key process equipment and related erection supervision/commissioning assistance.

New Fengming Group currently owns and operates already two 500 TPD  CP's based on IPT technology, both connected to direct spinning filament lines. Thanks to the advanced technology, excellent engineering/equipment quality and world class operations management, these two existing lines contributed substantially to the recent success of New Fengming Group in the industry”.

The new project is a continuation of a successful and satisfactory cooperation established between New Fengming and Chemtex in the previous two projects. The startup of the two new lines will allow New Fengming Group to consolidate its role of major player in the high quality polyester filament market in China and globally.
