Chemtex has been in the business of selling polyester plants (E, P and CM) for over 40 years.  Chemtex has successfully supplied over 120 plants globally.  The core strengths of our offering are largest single line capacities, proven technology with highly competitive operating and capital costs, and global project experience.
 
The Polyester technologies offered by Chemtex include continuous polymerization for PET and fibers, NGSS staple fiber, SSP (Solid State Polimerization) for industrial yarn, engineering polymers and postconsumer recycled PET flakes or chips.  Some of the major projects implemented include the world's largest CP lines operating in Mexico and Brazil, over 600 tons per day direct spinning of filament yarn and low cost staple lines manufactured in Asia producing highest quality products.

Thanks to the 40 years long experience in PET and polyester, and thanks to its revolutionary horizontal Easyup© SSP technology, Chemtex is specialized in offering customized solutions for existing melt-phase polymerization + solid state polymerization debottlenecking, bringing to customers the possibility of achieving capacity increase at marginal CAPEX.
