Chemtex has over 40 years of experience in providing ‘state of art’ Acrylic Fiber manufacturing facilities. Our diverse experience is based on several technologies with organic and inorganic solvents such as DMAC, DMF and NaSCN. Chemtex has provided several plants including polymerization and fiber processing with capacities up to 50,000 tons per year. Our licensees produce high quality fibers for textiles, industrial grades and other multiple other end uses with properties suitable for UV resistance, antimicrobial fibers, high temperature applications, etc.
Our plants are designed for ease of operation, minimal waste, optimum capital cost and long term operation.
PAN Precursor for Carbon Fiber
Based on our diverse experience in Acrylic fiber, Chemtex has technologies and project services available for PAN precursor suitable for conversion to Carbon Fiber. Complete plant design and Project services are available for PAN plants with single polymer line capacities of up to 4,000 tons per year and fiber lines up to 2,500 tons per year.
Chemtex can collaborate with downstream oxidation and carbonization systems suppliers in order to integrate complete facility designs.
